Lisa Angel, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that combines over 15 years of experience and over 5,000 hours of face-to-face therapy successfully completed with individuals, couples, and families. I run many groups out of my St. Augustine, Florida practice. My practice focuses on identifying the core issues that cause the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and addiction. Fostering a safe environment with implementing sound clinical skills and paying close attention to the individual’s belief system is paramount to me in my work. I feel very deeply about my relationship with God, and yet I do not project my own personal belief system onto my clients. I serve all people who need help with no discrimination.

Some of the services that I provide are Pre-Marital Counseling, Couples Therapy, and Family Therapy. I am particularly successful with teenagers and I love working with children of all ages. Guidance is given for Adjustment Problems, Separation, Anxiety Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD), Parenting, and Family Structural Issues. I work with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bi-Polar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Sexual Identity and Gender Issues (I serve the GLBT population). I also work with those who suffer with addictive/obsessive behaviors related to sex, love, and relationships. My primary focus is providing professional counseling that will restore mental, emotional, and spiritual stability.
